I have to say it again: spring is finally here! As a Chicago resident, I could not be happier. It’s been so cold. I recently saw a report that said that Chicago went the longest period of time without hitting 50 degrees in like 150 years. It was 5 or 6 months. And, man, do I believe it. It was cold this winter. Tulips are coming up and there’s been so much relief now that it’s in the 40s and 50s.

Now that I can survive walking my dog, I’m thinking about spring and summer and all the delicious vegetables, fruits, and herbs coming our way! And, for me, I need to eliminate some winter fluff so that means I need to get a little more serious about pulling back on the “comfort food” because I’m not going to be able to layer up. LOL.
