Why I love this orange salad dressing so much

Have you heard the age old proverb: “a salad’s greatness lies in its dressing”? Okay, maybe I made that up, but the sentiment is still true. This vibrant orange salad dressing drizzles life into your leafy greens!

Here is why this orange salad dressing stands out:

  • Flavor: This mandarin orange salad dressing is tangy with bright orange flavor. The taste is balanced with savory garlic, a seasoning of salt and pepper, and bright lemon for a citrus burst.
  • Versatile: I like this zesty orange salad dressing is as delicious over some arugula or baby kale as it is drizzled over roasted veggies or grains.
  • Ease: This baby uses just six ingredients – including the olive oil, salt, and black pepper! The instructions are so simple – just pour everything in a jar, and shake!
  • Storing: It lasts for up to a week in your fridge, so you’ll have it at the ready all week long. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

Frequently asked questions

If you don’t find the answer you’re looking for here, you can ask it in the comments below and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible!

How do I store leftover orange salad dressing?

Pour it into an airtight container or mason jar, and pop it in the fridge. It’ll last for up to a week – just give it a little shake (with the lid on) before you use it.

Can I add anything to this orange vinaigrette?

You can play with the flavors for sure! Add a bit of honey or dijon mustard to make it sweeter or tangier, or a bit of balsamic to make a balsamic orange vinaigrette salad dressing.

What salads should I put this orange dressing on?

One of the great things about this orange dressing is how versatile it is. It tastes particularly great on slightly bitter greens, like arugula, kale, or spinach salad, but it also works with crisp lettuce or coleslaw. I’ve used it on roasted vegetables and in a warm bowl of quinoa and it’s great!

Drizzle it onto this baby kale salad with grapefruit and avocado, this summer chicken salad, this fall brussels sprouts salad, or a summer quinoa salad.

This was wonderful on some simple greens that I served with chicken last night. The orange in here is a really nice flavor. Will make this recipe again!
