Add some vibrancy and zest to your salad with this bright and fresh orange salad dressing. Naturally sweetened with mandarin orange juice, this versatile dressing adds a delicious burst of flavor to your salads!

This orange salad dressing is bright, fresh, and exactly the kind of dressing that makes a simple salad suddenly feel exciting. Sweet mandarin oranges give it a vibrant citrus flavor, while lemon, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper keep everything balanced with just the right mix of tangy, savory, and fresh.
One of the things I love most about this dressing is how versatile it is. It’s just as good tossed with peppery arugula or baby kale as it is drizzled over roasted vegetables, grain bowls, or even grilled chicken. The citrus flavor keeps everything tasting light and lively without overpowering the rest of the meal.
It also happens to be incredibly easy to make. Everything gets added to a jar and shaken together in minutes, and the dressing keeps well in the fridge all week long. Having a homemade dressing like this ready to go makes throwing together a quick salad feel so much easier.
How to use this dressing
One of the great things about this orange dressing is its versatility. It tastes particularly great on slightly bitter greens, like arugula, kale, or spinach salad, but it also works with crisp lettuce or coleslaw. I’ve used it on roasted vegetables and in a warm bowl of quinoa, and it’s great!
Drizzle it onto this baby kale salad with grapefruit and avocado, this summer chicken salad, this fall brussels sprouts salad, or a summer quinoa salad.

This was wonderful on some simple greens that I served with chicken last night. The orange in here is a really nice flavor. Will make this recipe again!
