Creamy Cajun Chicken
This creamy Cajun chicken recipe is based on our popular creamy chicken lazone. It's a simple recipe that's made in just 25-minutes and is a guaranteed winner at the dinner table.
Chicken breasts are coated in Cajun spices then pan-fried until beautifully golden. SautƩ a little garlic in the pan then pour in some cream and let it simmer until it thickens. That simple sauce is so delicious that you'll be tempted to eat it all by the spoonful.
What to serve with creamy Cajun chicken
- Add some penne, spaghetti, or whatever shape you love to turn this into creamy cajun chicken pasta. There is plenty of sauce to pour over the pasta!
- The sauce is also tasty spooned over basmati rice.
- Or keep this low-carb/keto and serve it over miracle noodles or cauliflower rice!
- With steamed or roasted broccoli.
- On a big bed of spinach for a light lunch.
- Or slice some crusty sourdough to dip in the sauce. Yum!

How long does this Cajun chicken last?
Cooked chicken will keep well for 2-3 days in your fridge. Reheat the chicken gently to prevent the chicken from becoming dry. You can add a splash of water or milk to the pan to loosen the sauce if it gets too thick.
Can I freeze leftovers
Unfortunately cream does not freeze well as it's prone to separating. But don't worry, this recipe is so delicious that you won't have trouble finishing it!
