My roundup of breakfast recipes is full of good-for-you inspiration. I’ve made these dishes to be irresistibly delicious!

Eggs and spinach with the words Breakfast Recipes on top

There are so many delicious breakfast recipes out there. Eggs benedicts slathered with rich hollandaise sauce and French toast are so delicious—but too decadent to eat every single day. When it comes to my everyday breakfasts, I love eating easy and energizing foods.

Another thing I’ve found is that when I try to feed my family breakfast, I quickly end up getting bored. I’m the sort of person who enjoys variety in my food. That’s why I’ve compiled a list of my favorite breakfast recipes for you. These recipes are full of flavor, variety, and color.

No one skips breakfast on my watch!

The best way to start your day

So what does a balanced breakfast look like? A balanced breakfast has a mix of food like eggs, Greek yogurt, cheese, avocado, nuts and seeds, olive oil, fruits, vegetables, or leafy greens.

Another thing that matters to me is how easy it is to make or make ahead! When life gets busy, it might seem easier to skip breakfast than to spend extra time in the kitchen in the morning, so I love breakfasts that are also convenient.

Egg-based breakfasts

Eggs have become a breakfast classic as they keep you full and satisfied without being too heavy.

I love eating eggs before a big day of activity, so if I’m hiking or biking or my daughter has a big event, eggs become my go-to. They’re also super versatile, so you can enjoy them in countless ways.

With lots of veggies, nuts, avocados, and an egg on top, this breakfast salad will have you feeling ready for the day to come! I love the texture of this salad, with lots of crunch—it’s so refreshing.

This egg white omelette is perfect if you find yourself with leftover egg whites. Or, get your greens in before starting the day with this flavorful spinach and eggs recipe. Spinach always makes me feel satiated for the whole morning!

These breakfast stuffed bell peppers are something I make when I want to mix things up (or use up my leftover peppers!)

Breakfast Salad With Fried Eggs
This breakfast salad is a quick, energizing way to start the day. Most of it can be prepped ahead, so all you need in the morning is a few minutes to fry an egg. Fresh, creamy, and satisfying, it’s one of my favorite easy breakfasts.

Breakfast pancakes recipe

Pancakes are a breakfast classic, but they are usually a bit too indulgent to eat every day… Not these breakfast pancake recipes! While you won’t catch me taking the time to make a big batch of pancakes every morning, these are easy to make and enjoy throughout the week. I just pop them in the toaster or give them a quick zap in the microwave, and I have a warm pancake ready in no time. These breakfast pancakes store well in the freezer, too.

These banana walnut pancakes are my go-to for busy weeks. I love the combination of walnuts and banana. These whole wheat pancakes are hearty – I like serving them with a dollop of Greek yogurt and some fresh fruit.

If you don’t eat dairy, you can swap the milk for your favorite alternative – I often use almond milk!

Breakfast bowls

Breakfast bowls can be a great way to introduce variety to your breakfast routine, and I love them in summer when it’s too hot to start the day with warm food.

Sprinkle some chocolate nut superfood granola over Greek yogurt and add some berries and honey or maple syrup for a touch of sweetness. The granola stores for at least a month, and with amazing ingredients like quinoa, chia seeds, hemp hearts, and cacao nibs, you’ll be coming back for more!

If you are craving an easy, breezy, tropical sort of morning, make this make-ahead mango chia pudding. If I close my eyes when I eat this, I can convince myself I’m on a tropical vacation.

This peanut butter oatmeal is like a PB+J in oatmeal form, and it tastes like a treat.

Or rise and shine with this green goddess smoothie bowl! It’s not only good for you, it’s also super easy – just toss everything in a blender. You can also sweeten it up with dates or throw in other ingredients to make it your own.

This sweet potato frittata has deliciously earthy and balanced flavors, with goat cheese, curry powder, spinach, and roasted sweet potatoes – I love eating it with a spring mix salad on the side.

Or go for this easy zucchini tomato frittata – it is bursting with summery flavors like juicy tomatoes, zucchini, and caramelized onions. It’s super adaptable, so you can use up any leftover veggies in the fridge!
