If you’re looking for a delicious and fun way to make pork chops, I’ve got the recipe for you! Growing up, savory dishes with a touch of sweetness were my favorite, so you can bet these pineapple pork chops take me straight back to my childhood. This is a recipe that the whole family loves, and I think your family will love it, too. Let me show you how to make them!

I’ve got a recipe that everyone loves—kids, adults, and inner children included. These pineapple pork chops hit that irresistible sweet-savory balance, and they’re perfect for busy weeknights since there’s only about 10 minutes of prep and dinner is on the table in under 30 minutes.
Make it your own: Try dicing the pork chops into pineapple pork chop bites, or swap in fresh pineapple and add ½ cup pineapple juice for extra brightness. You can also turn this into a one-pan meal by sautéing bell peppers, broccoli, and red onion along with the pineapple.
Serving ideas
This is a dinner that almost demands being served with rice. Both basmati rice or cauliflower rice make great choices. And here are a few veggie side dishes that go well with this recipe:
How to store leftovers
Once your pineapple pork chops cool to room temperature, transfer them to an airtight container. Pop them in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. You can also freeze them for up to 3 months; thaw them in the fridge overnight before reheating.

Made a wonderful meal. First time ever.
That makes me so happy to hear! 😊 And for it to turn out so well your very first time is even better. Thanks so much for giving it a try and for taking the time to leave a note! 💛

Great thanks
You’re so welcome! 😊 Thanks for taking the time to leave a note — I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I forgot to take a picture before we ate dinner tonight. I made six chops with two left over for tomorrow. Everyone loved this recipe. I served the chops with rice and spinach. A delicious dinner, thank you.
So happy to hear it was a hit! Love that you had leftovers for tomorrow—that’s always a win. Rice and spinach sound like the perfect sides to soak up all those flavors!
Made in insta-pot, was so tender! Also used a fresh pineapple. Had egg noodles with carrots for sides. Next time plan to thicken the sauce and have with mashed potatoes. Excellent, Thank you!
That sounds like a delicious twist—fresh pineapple and egg noodles with carrots? Yum! Great idea to thicken the sauce for mashed potatoes next time. So glad you enjoyed it!
Can these be made in the crock pot after searing? If so, any changes to the ingredients?
Yes, you can definitely finish them in the crock pot after searing! Just reduce the liquid slightly since there’s less evaporation in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 2–3 hours, or until tender. Everything else can stay the same—just keep an eye so they don’t overcook. Enjoy! 🐖🍽️
Cool recipe but why is it called oven pork chops? Isn’t it stove-top?
Thank you so much for pointing out that mistake, Jay! Yes, this pineapple pork chops recipe is made on the stovetop. Recipe title fixed!
This was a delicious meal.
Thanks, Beth! It looks wonderful!
Followed this recipe step-by-step and it came out absolutely delish! I used pork chops with the bones but that is just my preference.
They look wonderful!
Excellent recipe!
I will be making this again soon!

Rob
Thanks, Robert!
Can you make an instant pot version? I have an idea of how it may work in the instant pot, but not 100% sure.
I’m sure you can, but I’m not super familiar with Instant Pots. Sorry!
Just made it in my insta-pot, was excellent!
I used fresh pineapple and used slightly less soy sauce than the recipe calls for because I typically don’t like it. I followed directions to the tee otherwise and it was absolutely delicious! These are the most tender pork chops I have ever made or eaten in my 61+ years! Fantastic.
We loved it! First time making it and any time my husband compliments a new recipe I keep it to make again and this one I will!
