How to store leftovers
Once your pineapple pork chops cool to room temperature, transfer them to an airtight container. Pop them in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. You can also freeze them for up to 3 months; thaw them in the fridge overnight before reheating.

Why, oh why would you could pork chops this long? They will have the texture of hockey pucks. If you’re going to do this, sear the pork and let it rest while you make and reduce the sauce, then add the chops for a quick minute to finish. They will be tender and juicy. Also, add some fresh ginger to the sauce to make it far more interesting. Ginger goes with pineapple like a dream.
I added some jalapeños on my two pork chops! Delicious!!
Very very good
We loved it. It was moist and very flavorful! I made it over Basmati rice! I definitely will make this again!

Can I use bone in pork chops? And if so, do I need to add cooking time?
Yes you can! Bone in pork chops will take a few extra minutes to cook.
I made these last night and my kids have already asked me to make them again. They rarely do that when I make pork. This ones a keeper!
This recipe sounds delicious. Can it be made with bone in pork chops as well?
Yes! They’ll just take a few extra minutes to cook. 🙂
Winner!! My grandson took leftovers and hid them for snacking later. Love.
The flavors were outstanding. However the meat was very tough. I prefer overcooked meat to undercooked meat. Could I have let this stew a lot longer to let the meat break down?
Pork chops are quite lean so they don’t become more tender with longer cooking – they become tougher. I would suggest cooking it for less time next time. 🙂
This was totally delicious. I substituted brown sugar instead of honey.
I’m a private chef and I think my family would love this pork recipe. Gonna make it one night next week. Thank you for sharing ?.
Can I use fresh pineapple?
You can! Make sure to also add ½ cup of pineapple juice to the sauce. 🙂
I did this and used the residual juice from the bowl and added a little water. Worked great although, admittedly, the sauce didn’t thicken as it probably should have. Still a wonderful recipe and a total keeper!!! Thanks!
