The temperatures are getting cooler. Okay, some days are cooler and some days are still blazing hot but fall is coming. Are you excited for fall or hanging on to every last drop of summer? I love summer. I really do. But, fall is my favorite season. The clothes are better. You get to wear boots and layers—and not sweat to death walking down the street.
Maybe it goes back to the beginning of a new school year but fall is a time to start fresh. I actually set more goals (and achieve them) in autumn than I do in January. I make lists of things to do. And, I feel like I’m actually busier in fall than I am in summer. Plus, it has the best holidays. My favorite holiday is Halloween, followed by Thanksgiving. So. Much. Fun.
Okay, okay, I’ll stop writing my love letter to autumn….
Summer produce can’t be beat. It’s so delicious and full of flavor. But, I’m all about the comfort food after Labor Day. Fall produce is so delicious and filling. It’s all about the winter squash. I also try to keep it healthier during most of my meals to balance out the fall baking. Life is all about balance, right?
