How is it almost Halloween? I swear it was Memorial Day last week. But, I couldn’t be more excited for the best time of the year. Seriously, this time of year is so fun. It all starts with cooler weather, layers of clothing, comfort food like this Pumpkin Mac and Cheese Casserole, the colorful leaves, and then Halloween!! Halloween is actually my favorite holiday of the year. I love all of the dressing up, the acting like a kid, the candy, and all the festive desserts. Now, we get to my second favorite holiday: Thanksgiving!! Okay, the thing about food…because it’s all about the food. There is so much delicious food everywhere from the time we kick off the season with Halloween until we clink glasses on New Year’s Eve. After one particularly delicious season a few years back, I decided that I’m totally going to enjoy all the goodies but there’s plenty of delicious healthy recipes out there to incorporate into my menus to stay on track and in my pants. Thanksgiving is a great opportunity to have a completely healthy dinner or do a little compromise where there are both healthy and less-than-healthy classic menu choices. With these Whole30 Thanksgiving Recipes, your guests won’t even know they are eating healthier so it’s super easy to sneak in some healthier choices.
