This hot honey baked brie is gooey and sweet with a little heat. It’s a wheel of brie cheese baked with homemade hot honey, and topped with pecans and fresh rosemary. It’s an easy party appetizer that everyone loves, and it’s ready in just 20 minutes!

Hot Honey Baked Brie on a serving platter

Hot honey baked brie is one of those appetizers I love pulling out when I want something that looks impressive without any real effort. It’s perfect for cozy nights in or holiday entertaining, and it always disappears fast.

I score a round of brie, drizzle it with honey mixed with sriracha and chili flakes, then bake it until soft and melty. Once it’s out of the oven, I finish it with crunchy pecans and a sprinkle of fresh rosemary, which adds both flavor and a festive touch. The combination is creamy, crunchy, sweet, and slightly spicy—all in the best way.

I serve it with crackers, crostini, or crisp apple slices, depending on what I have on hand. It’s easy to customize and is one of those simple appetizers that feel special every time.

Tip: Make extra hot honey and use it on my hot honey chicken or hot honey sweet potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha

  • 1 round brie
  • ½ cup roasted pecans
  • ½ teaspoon minced fresh rosemary
  • Crackers, crostini, or apple slices (to serve)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Make the hot honey in a small bowl by mixing the honey, sriracha, and chili flakes.

  • Cut lines into the top of the brie to create a pattern of little squares – this makes it easier to eat. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of the hot honey over the brie and push it into the cuts.
