A festive Valentine's Charcuterie Board featuring assorted berries, meats, cheeses, crackers, popcorn, cookies, dip with a heart-shaped jelly topping, and charming heart-shaped decorations—perfect for your Valentine's Day celebration.

This Valentine’s Day charcuterie board is all about leaning into the fun — pinks and reds, playful shapes, and just enough whimsy to make it feel special without being fussy. It’s the kind of board that makes people smile before they even take a bite, with classic sweet-and-savory snacks dressed up in heart shapes and Cupid-inspired details. Think romantic, but lighthearted — perfect for date night, Galentine’s, or a cozy night in.

What really sets this board apart are the homemade touches. A wheel of brie gets a heart-shaped cutout filled with glossy red jam, turning a familiar cheese into a total centerpiece. Flour tortillas become crisp, heart-shaped crackers after a quick bake, and sliced cheeses get the same treatment with cookie cutters for easy, on-theme layers. Cherry tomatoes are sliced and skewered into little heart “arrows,” Babybel cheeses get tiny heart windows cut through the red wax, and salami rosettes are shaped using glasses of different sizes to add height and drama to the board.

From there, it’s all about filling in the gaps with things that feel festive and irresistible. Chocolate is non-negotiable, strawberry Pocky adds a playful pop of color, and a mix of crunchy nuts, crackers, and wafers keeps everything snackable and balanced. The result is a board that feels thoughtful and creative, but still relaxed — a love-day spread that’s meant to be picked at, admired, and enjoyed together.

Make-ahead tips

While it’s best to assemble the board just before serving, you can prepare all of the playful little details ahead of time to make things easy.

  • Brie cutout: Make this several hours in advance and store it on a small plate in the fridge.
  • Tomato heart skewers: Assemble these a few hours ahead and keep them chilled until serving.
  • Salami rosettes: These can be made a few hours ahead and kept on a plate in the fridge.
  • Heart-shaped crackers: These can be baked a few days ahead and kept in a resealable bag at room temperature.
  • Babybel hearts: Cut the heart-shaped windows a few days in advance and store them in the fridge.
  • Cheese cutouts: Prepare a few days in advance and store in a sealed container in the fridge.

This Valentine’s Day charcuterie board is packed with playful heart-shaped cheeses, crackers, and festive treats. It’s a fun, customizable board that’s perfect for date night, Galentine’s, or a cozy night in with the family.

Ingredients

Brie Cut Out

  • 1 wheel brie cheese
  • 2-4 tablespoons jam or honey

Heart Shaped Crackers

  • Flour tortillas
  • Drizzle of olive oil
  • A pinch of salt (or your favorite seasoning)

Everything Else

  • Thinly sliced salami
  • Babybel Cheese
  • Cherry tomatoes (long, not round)
  • Cheese slices
  • A variety of meats, cheeses, nuts, berries, crackers, chocolates, Pocky, and popcorn

Instructions

  • Brie cut out: Slice the top off a wheel of brie and then use a cookie cutter to cut a heart shape in the top. Replace the top, then fill the cut out with jam or honey.
1 wheel brie cheese, 2-4 tablespoons jam or honey
A round wheel of cheese with a heart-shaped cutout filled with red jam, a red heart-shaped cutter, and a jar of jam on a dark surface—perfect for your Valentine's Charcuterie Board.
  • Heart-shaped crackers: Use a cookie cutter to cut heart shapes out of the tortillas. Place the tortilla hearts in a bowl, drizzle with a little olive oil, and add any seasonings you like (see notes). Arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-12 minutes, until golden and crispy.

A baking tray with heart-shaped crackers, some topped with herbs and some plain, arranged in rows on a marble surface—perfect for adding a festive touch to your Valentine's Day charcuterie board.
  • Salami rosettes: Overlap the salami slices around the rim of a glass. Once full, turn the glass over and remove your rosette. Tip: Use a small and a large glass for different-sized rosettes.
    Thinly sliced salami
A group of sliced meat on a table arranged as a delightful Valentine's Charcuterie Board—perfect for sharing as a festive Valentine's Day snack.
  • Babybels: Remove the outer plastic wrapper, and then use a tiny, heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut through the wax coating.
    Babybel Cheese
Three Babybel cheese rounds on a wooden charcuterie board; two feature heart shapes cut into the red wax coating, with a heart-shaped wax piece beside them—perfect for a Valentine's Day charcuterie board.
  • Cherry tomato hearts: Slice an oblong cherry tomato in half on the diagonal. Twist it to create a heart shape and then skewer a few onto toothpicks.
    Cherry tomatoes
Wooden charcuterie board with red heart-shaped gummy candies, some skewered on sticks with pink heart toppers, perfect for a sweet Valentine's Day treat on a light surface.
  • Cheese hearts: Use a cookie cutter to cut heart shapes out of cheese slices. You can use different-sized cookie cutters and/or different colored cheeses.
    Cheese slices
Two heart-shaped cutters and slices of cheese on a wooden cutting board, perfect for adding to your Valentine's Charcuterie Board with adorable heart-shaped cheese cutouts.
  • Assemble: Start with the largest items: the brie cheese, salami rosettes, and (if you're using) a heart-shaped bowl for the berries. Add the medium-sized items next: other cheeses, crackers, and meats. Fill in all the gaps with nuts, chocolates, and popcorn. Lay the Pocky and tomato heart skewers on top.

A round Valentine's Charcuterie Board with assorted fruits, cheeses, meats, crackers, cookies, and heart-shaped decorations is set on a pink heart-patterned tablecloth.

Notes

Seasoning for crackers: A pinch of salt is all you need to make tasty crackers, but it’s easy and fun to flavor them. Popcorn seasoning works great. In the photos, the small crackers are seasoned with white cheddar popcorn seasoning, while the large ones are seasoned with ranch seasoning.
