My cooking club is a fun way to try a new recipe every month AND get the chance to win an awesome prize. Each month, we choose one recipe for you to make. After you make it, snap a quick pic and share it in the recipe comment section. One lucky winner will be randomly selected to receive a $100 gift card!

New to the club?

Here’s how to join and win prizes!

  1. Recipe: Cook the recipe of the month. Sign up to our Cooking Club emails so you’ll know as soon as another challenge begins.
  2. Take a picture: Before you dig into the tasty meal you made, snap a quick pic with your phone. It doesn’t need to be fancy!
  3. Leave a comment: Share your picture in the comment section of the assigned recipe. Make sure to use an email address you check frequently as we will contact you via the email address you use to leave the comment. (Don’t worry, it’s not shared publicly.)

May 2026 Cooking Club Recipe

This month, we’re making one of my all-time favorite bowl recipes: Hot Honey Chicken Bowls. The chicken is cut into bite-sized pieces, coated in panko, then baked until crispy. It’s served in a bowl with rice, coleslaw, sweet pickles (if you love them), and a generous drizzle of sriracha honey mayo.

Feel free to swap chicken breasts for the thighs if you prefer them.

Important details and …

The Prize: A $100 gift card!

Click here to go directly to the comments section, or scroll down past the recipe. You’ll see a box where you can rate the recipe using stars, upload your photo, and leave a review.

Do I need to share my email?

Yes! Make sure you use an email address that you check regularly, as that is how I contact winners. Your email will not appear on my site; only I can see it.

Yes! I think cooking should be flexible, so feel free to make any necessary substitutions. It would be helpful to both other readers and me if you noted the substitutions you made in your review.
