Make this peanut salad dressing in five minutes with kitchen-staple ingredients. It's full of flavor and delicious on crunchy salads and coleslaws. You can also use this versatile salad dressing as a marinade, dip, or stir fry sauce.
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk the peanut butter, lime juice, soy sauce, ginger, sesame oil, and garlic. Thin with the water, starting with ¼ cup. (see notes.)
½ cup smooth all-natural peanut butter, ¼ cup lime juice, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon ginger, 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil, 2 cloves garlic, ¼ - ½ cup water
Taste and add salt if needed.
Sea salt
Notes
Consistency: The amount of water you'll need to add will depend on how thick your peanut butter is and how thick or thin you'd like the dressing to be. If you're using it as a dip, you may not want to add any water. Sweetness: This is not a sweet salad dressing. If you'd like, you can add a little maple syrup or honey to sweeten it. Store: This salad dressing will keep well for at least one week in the fridge. Note that it will thicken when it's cold. Don't worry, mix in a little water and it will return to a deliciously pourable salad dressing.
