Made with Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, and a pinch of paprika, this homemade dijonnaise is creamy, tangy, and ready in just 5 minutes. Use it as a dip, sandwich spread, burger sauce, or accompaniment to chicken, seafood, and vegetables.
Add the mayonnaise and ¼ cup of dijon mustard to a small bowl.
Mix together well and then taste the dijonnaise. If you want more dijon flavor, add the remaining ¼ cup of dijon mustard.
Serve the dijonnaise with a little paprika sprinkled on top.
Notes
I love using ½ cup of Dijon mustard in this recipe because it gives the dip a sharp, spicy kick. For a milder dijonaise, use ¼ cup. You can always add more if you decide you want it more flavorful.
