SHRIMP TORTELLINI IN LEMON GARLIC CREAM SAUCE

This shrimp tortellini recipe is a real treat. It's made with tender shrimp, an insanely delicious creamy lemon garlic sauce, and cheese tortellini. Bonus that you can whip up this tasty dinner in just 15-minutes!

INGREDIENTS

– Cheese tortellini – Butter – Onion – Garlic – Chicken stock – Spinach – Cream cheese – Shrimp

Put a large pot of salted water on high heat. Bring the pot to a boil then add the tortellini and cook according to the package directions – usually 6-8 minutes. Drain the water and set it aside.

While the water is heating, make the sauce. Melt the butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is transparent, about 3 minutes.

Add the chicken stock, heavy cream, and cream cheese and bring to a simmer. Stir until the cream cheese has melted into the sauce.

Add the shrimp to the pan and let it cook for 2 minutes.

Add the spinach and cook until it wilts, about 1 minute Add the cooked tortellini, lemon zest, and lemon juice and season to taste with salt and pepper.
