This creamy chicken stew with dumplings is comfort food at its best. The deliciously creamy chicken and vegetable stew is topped with easy homemade dumplings that are light and fluffy.

This stew is all things warm and cozy. It's got the most tender shredded chicken, a lusciously creamy broth, and soft stew veggies.


- butter - onion - carrots - celery - garlic - potatoes - poultry seasoning, sea salt, black pepper - chicken stock - chicken breasts - cream cheese - all-purpose flour - dry white wine


Melt the butter in a soup pot over medium-high heat. Add the onion and cook until it is transparent, about 3 minutes.

Add the carrots, celery, and garlic and cook for 2 minutes more.

Add the potatoes, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper and stir the pot. Add the chicken stock and chicken breasts and bring the pot to a boil.

Lower the heat, cover the pot, and cook until the chicken breasts are tender, about 18-20 minutes.
