Recipe FAQs
I don't have cinnamon oil ā can I use ground cinnamon?
While this is a natural idea for a replacement, we don't recommend it. The flavors are too different. If you cannot find cinnamon oil, simply omit it and enjoy the chocolatey cupcake, and the cinnamon flavor can come from the icing.
Where can I find cinnamon oil?
Some supermarkets carry cinnamon oil in the baking section. Otherwise, some health food stores or specialty supermarkets may have it. You can also find some cinnamon oil online.
Can I store leftovers?
Yes! If you think you'll eat them in 2-3 days, you can store them in an airtight container on the countertop at room temperature. They also freeze very well for longer storage.
