A collage of 6 heathy lunch ideas with the post title on the picture.

Hello, Late August! This summer has flown by. I know some of you are holding on for dear life to summer but we’ve had a few cooler days here and I’m loving it. Back to school and fall is always a great time for me to have a fresh start and get back to regularly scheduled programming. It’s my favorite time of year. As a kid, I always loved going back to school. I always had new school supplies, a new schedule, new activities, and a chance to do better. August and September were always my “New Year.” Maybe it was the 20+ years of school but I still feel it today.

Creating healthy snack recipes is always a challenge. I put it up there with making a healthy lunch that isn’t a salad. I struggle. However, with a little bit of planning and/or prep healthy snacks are right around the corner, every single day. Back to school (and back to work) can be a busy time so we pulled together a roundup of more than twenty healthy snacks for kids! They are not just for kids though—they are delicious for everyone. Seriously, these recipes are so good that kids won’t even know they are having healthy snacks, which really is the ideal situation.

Keep this healthy snacks list on hand and you’ll never have to battle your kids during snack time again! Okay, I can't guarantee that, but it's a solid plan.

Happy Back to School!
