Ideas I love
The best ideas come as jokes. Make your thinking as funny as possible — David Ogilvy

Hammock Tents
Looking for a little adventure? Waldseilgarten mountain resort in Bavaria let’s you sleep while hanging 6,562 feet off the side of a mountain summit. I’m brave, but not that brave. If they could find a tree on their mountain summit with big strong branches that are fairly close to the ground, and hang the tent from that, I’d be in.

Bubble Tents
Now this is my kind of camping! These Bubble Tents, designed by French designer Pierre Stephane, take camping to a whole new level. With different designs offering either completely transparent walls, or opaque walls and a transparent ceiling, you can play up your inner exhibitionist, or not.
I don’t see any campfires or Campfire Roasted Stuffed Peppers happening around this tent. Champagne and caviar only, thank you every much.
This Bubble Tent can be yours for only (cough) £7,500.

Edible Cutlery from BK Environmental Innovators
Indian entrepreneurs, Narayana Peesapaty and Rama Devi Rayapudi, turned their concept into reality. BK Environmental Innovations offers forks, knives, spoons and chopsticks in vanilla, strawberry and pineapple flavours.
The cutlery is made from Sorghum flour, a traditional Indian product.
I would like to have some of these vanilla flavoured spoons on hand next time I make lemon curd

Haiko Cornelissen Grass Topped Picnic Table
I love the idea of bringing the outdoors inside. I bet I could almost fool myself into believing it was summer, even in January, if I was running my hands through the soft grass with a plate of bruschetta and a glass of red wine in front of me.
I had originally found the photo on Scout Magazine’s Cool Things We Want page. For some reason it is missing from there now. Do go and check them out, they really do want cool things.

Pas Skateboard House
A skateboarder’s dream. The entire inside of this modern design single family home is designed as an indoor skatepark. Designed by Pierre-Andre Senizergues (PAS), former professional skater, the home features half pipes, rails and curbs alongside more traditional household features such as a kitchen, bathroom bedroom and living room.

Peanut Business Cards
These business cards are weird, quirky and definitely impractical. Doesn’t matter, I still love them. I wonder how The Endless Meal would look written on them?
Arigatou, a Japanese company, is using high-grade CO2 laser engraving technology to create these bite sized business cards. At around $50 for a set of 150, they would make a rather expensive snack.
These “Taberu Me” cards could be roughly translated to mean, “nice to meet you, here is my card, eat me!” That makes them want them even more.
